In what appeared to be a less-than-spectacular performance against Washington at home, head coach Jeff Fisher gave Vince Young the night off for violating a team rule:
Titans coach Jeff Fisher refused to say why he sat Young except that he owed it to the quarterback not to say. Asked by a TV reporter what happened, Young warned children not to break the rules, but he reportedly stayed at home instead of the team hotel.
One of the most contested jobs up for grabs is the starting running back slot. Lendale White nor Chris Henry both averaged under four yards per carry.
