One would hope that the loss of Drew Bennett, an experienced, veteran receiver, will be offset by the addition of Eric Moulds. And yes, one of the young receivers needs to step up. But Salisbury’s last comment is worth noting: there are teams such as the New England Patriots who may have one too many veteran receivers on its roster at the end of the preseason. Mike Reinfeldt has been prudent in his acquisitions thus far; perhaps he has his eye on another veteran receiver who the Titans can afford to pay and who will make a meaningful contributions to the team’s offense.
