This story by the Tennessean’s Jim Wyatt focuses on Eric Mould’s adjustment to playing with a mobile quarterback. This isn’t new for Moulds; at one time he played with the diminuitive Doug Flutie.
I’ve said it before: since the Titans didn’t keep Drew Bennett, Eric Moulds will be important in determining whether Vince Young and the Titans improve or regress in 2007.
The article also discussed Vince Young’s progress as a passer. Regarding his basic approach to quarterbacking, Young said:
“A lot of people are thinking I am always looking to run the ball, but when I take off, if I am not past the line of scrimmage I am looking to throw the ball down the field.”
