Titans offensive coordinator Norm Chow withdrew his name from consideration for the vacant UCLA head coaching job.
“… I have decided not to pursue things further with UCLA at this time. My focus is on the Tennessee Titans and preparing our team for a chance at the playoffs.”
Also, I’m sure Vince Young was happy to hear this statement from head coach Jeff Fisher:
“We aren’t grading the quarterback position based on interception numbers,” Coach Jeff Fisher said. “You can’t do that, because there are different reasons for interceptions. He’s got a handful of balls that were tipped and those things just happen. That’s not a concern.”
So far, Young has thrown 16 interceptions versus nine touchdown passes.
