I compose and release music as Bandypop.

A songwriter since my teens, I began creating remixes and mashups in the early 2000s. Inspired by independent artist Brad Sucks, I first went public with my compositions and remixes in 2004.

My musical influences include Citizen Cope, Count Bass D, Dr. Dre, Four Tet, and Pete Rock.

I released his first single, “Cleavon,” in 2010. Producer Rick Rubin, and his book, The Creative Act: A Way of Being, inspired me to resurrect my music career and release my first full album, First One on Mars, in 2023.

My latest release, Primo, released in 2024, is inspired by the idea of creating a soundtrack for a nonexistent movie.
